Some of our pieces are labelled as waterproof, meaning they’re safe for daily exposure to water — like handwashing or short showers. However, waterproof does not mean tarnish-proof. All gold-plated jewellery, even waterproof ones, will naturally tarnish over time depending on skin pH, exposure to chemicals, and wear habits.

By purchasing from Bare Jewellery, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Waterproof = water-friendly, not resistant to all chemicals or long-term tarnishing.
• Tarnishing and signs of wear are normal and not considered a fault.
• Customers are responsible for following our care recommendations.
• We do not cover returns or replacements for tarnishing caused by improper use or care.
